Harry William Rozenski, age 84, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Estill Springs, TN. Also known as the Christmas lights man. Harry illuminated the road bank of 41A in Estill Springs every year until 2009.

Harry was born August 15, 1937, in Chicago IL. on S. Western Ave. and W. Washburne Ave. Son of Harry and Olga (Leschina) Rozenski

He got married on July 25th, 1959, to Shirle Struensee and they moved to S. Trumbull Ave. in Chicago, IL. now known as the little village area. Harry got a job working for Western Electric which became part of AT&T.

They had three children and moved to Glendale Heights, IL. in 1965. Harry and his wife separated in 1970. Harry moved to West Chicago, IL. He met Christine Bruner who became his common law wife. Harry retired from AT&T after 35 years of service in 1993 and moved to Estill Springs, TN.

Harry is survived by his two children: Debra (Rozenski) Stingley and Walter Rozenski, his sister, Olga (Rozenski) and husband Terry Spaeth, brothers; Raymond Rozenski and Victor Rozenski, many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Harry W. Rozenski Jr. passing at the young age of two years old, his parents: Harry W. Rozenski and Olga (Leschina) Rozenski, brother, William Rozenski, his first wife Shirle Bryan, and his common law wife Christine Bruner.

A special thank you to the staff at the Waffle house. Our dad would go their frequently. It was more than a place to have a meal. It was a place to talk with friends. He picked on the staff, and they picked on him. It was out of love, and their company brought happiness to his last years.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Funeral will be 9 am, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood IL. He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery 2905 Thatcher Ave., River Grove, IL.
