Bobby Wayne Ridner, age 65 of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Unity Medical Center. A native of Coffee County, he was born on April 24, 1957, to the late Samuel Russell and Argie Ruth (Bush) Ridner. Bobby was the owner and operator of Ridner Masonry. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding four-wheelers and shooting fireworks with his grandchildren. Bobby also enjoyed fishing, tinkering around and fixing things, and working in his vegetable garden. A true family man, he most of all cherished the time spent with his beloved family. Bobby was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Russell E. Ridner; sister, Barbara Ann Ridner; and grandson, Kaiden Ott-Ridner. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Carolyn Ridner of Manchester; children, Sylene (Jordan) Tipps of Tullahoma, and Daniel Wayne Ridner of Manchester; grandchildren, Klaryssa Lynn Phillips, Alexis Diane Phillips, Serenity Grace Ridner, and Kylie Cheyanne Ridner of Manchester; siblings, Steve (Diane) Ridner, Danny Norman Jernigan of Manchester, and Jessie Floyd Jernigan, all of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Hurricane Grove Cemetery with Steve Ridner, Samuel Ridner, James Ridner, Jordan Tipps, James Ridner Jr, and Michael Ridner serving as pallbearers.
