Harry Wallace Clark, age 93, of Florence, passed away April 1, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, April 4, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Clark was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Merchant Marines. He retired from Champion Papers after 42 years of employment. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Florence.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Catherine Lovett Clark; sons, Larry Clark, of Houston, Texas, and Michael (Cindi) Clark, of Hartselle, Alabama; daughters, Sue (Bryan) Edwards, of Adger, Alabama, and Barbara (John) Dozier, of Florence; grandchildren, Tyler (Sara) King, of Milton, Florida, Matthew (Erin) Edwards, of Hueytown, Alabama, and Andrew Edwards, of Birmingham, Alabama; great-grandchild, Piper Elizabeth King, of Milton, Florida; two nephews and one niece.
