Funeral service for Harold “Buddy” Holt, 83, will be Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Holt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Holt died on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 2, 1935, in Morgan County to Hassie Lee Holt and Rena Beatrice Johnson Holt. He was employed by Wolverine Tube as a Coil Mill Machine Operator, prior to his retirement. He was a Baptist, a member of the American Legion and an Alabama Fan. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years; Shirley Holt, his parents, and siblings; Edilth Holt, Louise Reeves, Arnold Holt, Diane Holt and Halford Holt and a grandson: Justin Harold Holt.
Family wishes to extend “Special Thanks” to Hospice of the Valley and Ann Smith, his caregiver, for her loving care.
