Gregory Paul “Greg” Peeden, 57, of Florence, passed away January 21, 2014 at ECM Hospital after an extended illness.
Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2014 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 12 noon in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Wayne Wood, Joel Henley, Gerald Montgomery, and Ronnie Marks officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Peeden was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Katherine Irene Peeden.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Atkinson Peeden; sons, Lee Peeden (Hollie) of Sheffield, Chris Peeden (Kim) of Florence; daughter, Tasha Peeden Putman (Kevin) of Lexington; brothers, Bobby Peck of Killen, Tim Parker of Lexington, TN; sister, Empress Peck Biggers of Killen; grandchildren, Trey Peeden, Emily Putman, Sommer Putman, Blair Peeden, Kyleigh Peeden, and Emma Grace Peeden.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Atkinson, Doug Atkinson, Chuck Killen, Robert Smith, Don Branscome, Timmy Staggs, Revin Easterday, and Kenneth Atkinson.
