MADISON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Madison County has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:27 p.m. Thursday, September 11, has claimed the life of a Grant man.
Ronald L. Bellis Jr., 64, was fatally injured when the 1996 Jeep Grand Laredo that he was driving left the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned. Bellis was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 431 near Cullom Boulevard, approximately two miles north of Owens Cross Roads, in Madison County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
