Grant Lee Hester, 42, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. A celebration of life will be Saturday, January 10, at Launch Point Church, Tuscumbia, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. A devotion will immediately follow at the church with Gary Jones officiating.
Grant was a member of Tuscumbia First Baptist Church. He had a servant’s spirit and would help anyone and even give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He loved everyone, and everyone loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanene Robinson; son, Jakob Hester; and uncle, James Hester.
Grant is survived by his wife, Josie Hester; children, Taylor Hudgins (Paul), Alexis Hester, Kaylie Hester, and Steele Hester; father, Harvey Hester (Kay Claunch); brother, Sean Hester (Sara); grandchildren, Indy Hudgins, and future baby Hudgins; the mother of his children, Marsha Creamer; his parents-in-law, Mark and Laura Jones; and aunt, Faye Hester.
