Edward Dale Dickerson, 79 of Hayden, passed away on Sunday January 4, 2026.
He was a 50+ year electrician with IBEW Local 136. He loved the outdoors and loved to fish and he was an avid Alabama Football fan (Roll Tide!). His wife of over 50 years, Gwendolyn Dickerson, preceded him in death on June 17, 2022.
Dale is survived by his 2 sons; Kenneth Dickerson (Barbara) and Michael Dickerson; grandchildren, Kacey, Brooke, Blake, and Baylee; sister, Gale Poore; brother, Jackie Dickerson (Carol). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate Dale’s life will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.
