Grace M. Vandiver, of Muscle Shoals, born Aug. 31, 1917, departed Feb. 12, 2014. Visitation will be today from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with funeral services to begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating is Ronny Powell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Beryl Vandiver; parents, George and Julia McCullough; brothers, Herbert and Kermit; and sisters, Winifred, Gladys, Faye, and Helen.
Survivors include her sisters, Nell and Kay. Other survivors are a son, Lecil Vandiver; and a daughter, Sharon Green (Wayne);
one grandson, Phillip Green; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Trevor Green;
a great-great-granddaughter, Marleigh Green; and true and special friend, Betty Aker.
She was a longtime member of Highland Park Church of Christ.
