Funeral service for Grace L. Vinson, 95, will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 4:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Redfearn and Bro. Shane Lewis officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vinson died on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born December 1, 1919, in Lawrence County to George Baxter Curtiss and Mary Ellen (Parker) Curtiss. Mrs. Vinson and her husband were owners of Vinson’s Upholstery in Hartselle for 30 years.
She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church since 1959.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Mitford L. Vinson and her parents, her brothers: Johnny Arthur, Tommy, Wesley, Robert, Jim and Alvin , her sisters: Ethel, Bessie, Minnie, and Ila, and two grandchildren: Pam Vinson and Tony Roberson.
