Gloria Carol Zigman (Murphy ), 58 of Cherokee passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Doug Dickerson and Bro. Perry Murphy officiating. Burial will be at Asphalt Rock Cemetery.
Gloria was a native of Cherokee and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Virginia Murphy and brother, Danny Murphy.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Zigman; daughters, Jennifer N. Golembeski (Paul) of Momence, IL and Robin L. Zigman (Zach) of Tinley Park, IL; brothers, Steve Murphy (Deannie) and Eddie Murphy (Kathy); six grandchildren, Dustin, Zachary, Shyann, Brenden, Connor, and Jase; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers are Mike Holt, Donnie, Scott, and Kevin Murphy, Darryl Bolin, and Doug Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Zigman and Zachary Platt.
