Glenna Faye Murray, age 83, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away on September 2, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 30, 1943, to G.H. Brewer Jr. and Pauline Brewer. Faye enjoyed dancing, listening to classic rock music, playing bingo, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She worked as a supervisor at Winston Furniture for many years. Faye was a joy to be around, and her warm and loving presence will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. Faye’s memory will live on through the family and friends who knew and loved her. Glenna is survived by her partner, Ken Murray of Russellville; sons, Pat (Donna) Murray of Russellville and Darryl Smith of Haleyville; daughter, Wendy Smith of Haleyville; brother, Larry (Sandi) Brewer of Bear Creek; sister, Sue (Jimmy) Thorn of Fayetteville, Tennessee; grandsons, Erie (Michelle) Smith of Phil Campbell and Camron (Chloe) Jones of Bear Creek; granddaughter, Ashley (Bethany) Smith of Huntsville; great-grandson, Ian Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
