Glen Albert Beddingfield, age 92, of Athens, passed away on Friday, February 14th, 2025, at Athens Health and Rehabilitation. Mr. Beddingfield was born on October 21st, 1932, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to John and Eula Clardy Beddingfield.
Mr. Beddingfield is survived by his wife Jane Sandlin Beddingfield; daughter and son-in-law Ginger and John Adams, daughter Laura Beddingfield; sisters Martha Ellen Floyd and Bobbie Baugher and her husband Buddy; as well as several special nieces and nephews.
Mr. Beddingfield was lovingly known as Popa to Monica, Hollis, Brett, Misty, McKenna, Mike, Pat, and Evan.
He is preceded by his parents; daughter Dr. Connie S. Beddingfield; son Glen Albert Beddingfield II, grandson Joshua Stewart Beddingfield; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, at Limestone Memorial Garden at 1:00 p.m. with Randy Adams officiating.
Mr. Beddingfield was a faithful member of New Hope Church of Christ for many years until a decline in his health made him unable to attend.
