Gladys Irene Williams was born August 9th, 1950, to the late Mr. Shedrick (Sam) and Adessie Williams in Amory, MS. She departed this life on June 8th, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center.
Ms. Gladys accepted Christ at an early age joining Church of the Living God under the leadership of the late Bishop James Smith. Her later years of worship were spent at the Pentecostal Church of God. While keeping core beliefs, she has visited various congregations to fellowship and worship throughout her lifespan. She was employed at Block Corporation for many years and enjoyed music of all genres.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Amory Historical Masonic Cemetery.
She is a cherished mother of two sons. Mr. David Williams (Linda) Mr. Michael Williams (Tonya) whom all live in Amory, MS. She also leaves four grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Justin Lucas of Tupelo, MS, Ajaysia Williams of Cordova, TN, Mr. Michael Williams II of Clarksville, TN and Mr. Tobias Williams, of Starkville MS.
Ms. Gladys also leaves special friends Ms. Beatrice Silas, Maggie Howard, Anna Dobbs, Lucy Keys and a host of cherished cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Eric Brown, Dedrick Conaway, Giovanni Conway, Demod Latham, Immanuel Jones, and Charles Wyatt.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour at 2 p.m.
