Gina Gertrude Daly slipped quietly from this life on August 24, 2026 at her home in Prospect, TN with her family by her side. She was born June 19, 1938 in Lewisburg, Tennessee and was 88 years old.
Gina’s family was her whole world and her love for them was boundless. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and lovingly known by her grandchildren as Nanny. She met her husband David in 1964 and they married March 13 of 1965. They shared 61 wonderful years together, and had one daughter, one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren. Nanny talked to Jesus about her babies every night.
Gina and David Owned G & D Mobile Homes in Pulaski for nearly 20 years. After they retired they spent their days sitting on the patio enjoying “outside”.
Gina was preceded in death by, her parents, Lenzie D. and Dallie Mae Poarch, brothers, Charles, William, and Lewis Poarch, sister, Joyce Wright, and daughter, Shelia Gooch.
She is survived by,
He husband, David Daly, granddaughter, Felicia (Justin) Gvozdas, and great-grandchildren, Tala and Arabella Gvozdas as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm on August 29, 2026 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The entombment will take place at Giles Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial keepsakes.
