Geraldine “Gerry” Pruett age 75 of Athens, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Ms. Pruett was born October 15, 1939 in Limestone County, AL to Percy Pruett and Minnie Hagood Pruett.
Services will be Wednesday, January 7, 2014 10:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Norm Webb, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Ms. Pruett was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survived by one sister, Jo Anne Schultz and husband, Tom of Athens; one brother, Rohn E. Pruett of Athens; one niece, Angela Pruett of Athens; two nephews, Tom Schultz and wife, Candice of Fayetteville, TN and Nick Schultz of Athens; two great-nieces, Noelle Schultz of Madison, AL and Mallory Schultz of Fayetteville, TN; two great-nephews, Andrew Schultz of Madison and Mason Schultz of Fayetteville, TN.
Pallbearers will be cousins.
