Gerald A. French, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, June 02, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, founding member of the New Prospect Fire Department, and a member of New Prospect United Methodist Church. Mr. French was also a member of New Prospect Community Club, Salvation Army, Relay for Life and God’s Store House.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sula Bishop French; and one sister, Vesta Powell

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews also survive.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at New Prospect United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 04, 2014, with Billy Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Shaw Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Henderson Settlement PO Box 205 Frakes, KY 40940 or the Salvation Army.
