Georgie Hazel Adams age 79 of Elkmont, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Adams was born June 21, 1933 in Giles County, TN to Melvin Newman and Aileen Woodfin Newman.
Services will be Monday, May 20, 2013 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. James Turner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Survived by two daughters, Joannie Butler and husband Benny and Carrie Wright; two sons, Danny Adams and David Adams and wife Shelby; grandchildren, Michelle Lagunas, Traci Johnston, Tawnya Kirkland, Kevin Butler, Rayna Powers, Dena Enfinger, Sean Guyot and Austin Adams; eight great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Butler, Sean Guyot, Austin Adams, Clayton Enfinger, Bruce Powers, Dilan Kirkland and Shelby Kirkland.
