George was a very devout Christian (Catholic). He loved God and Family. He always wanted everyone to come to salvation in Jesus Christ. He would hand out scripture verses, that he said the Lord had laid on his heart, to everyone. He typed out a prayer that read, “I pray that all my friends and relatives will truly accept the free gift of salvation through the Lord Jesus.”. All through scripture it is noted that we are  saved by faith in Jesus. John 3:16 & Acts 16:31 covers this. Please take a few minutes to look at these scriptures in the Bible, Ephesians 2:8, For by grace you have been saved through faith, this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one may boast. The song Amazing Grace carries such an anointing for those who have received Jesus as Lord  and Savior. I am truly touched every time I hear about Jesus’ love for us.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.

Visitation will be at 10am, Thursday September, 28 with a mass funeral service following at 11am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
