Mr. George Neil Graves, age 78, of Trinity, died Sunday July 23, 2017. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Courtland Baptist Church with Rev. Scotty Letson officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
He was born, February 17, 1939 to G. W. McCoy Graves and Vera Fowler Graves. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by three sons Richard Graves (Linda), David Graves (Michele) and Clifford Graves; one daughter Dianne Letson (Scotty); one brother Moody Graves; ten grandchildren Anna Graves, Bart Graves, Rachel Wendling, Rebekah Brewer, Leslie Kerby, Cody Graves, Shanna Bryant, Lindsey Bryant, Justin Rutherford and Heath Rutherford; nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bart Graves, Cody Graves, Justin Rutherford, Heath Rutherford, George Wendling, Adam Brewer, Brandon Kerby, Caleb and Joshua Wendling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors
