George Mason Powell Jr., 91 of Stevenson, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at his home.
George is Survived by his Children, Harold Powell, Carol (Tommy) Shoemake, Cheryl Powell, Grandchildren, Adam (Julie) Shoemake, Jenna (Randall) Moore, Great Grandchildren, Harmony Moore, Harley Arnold, Christopher Shoemake, Savannah Shoemake, Brothers, Floyd (Wanda) Powell, Wayne (Dorothy) Powell, Sister-in-Law, Brenda Powell, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is Preceded in death by his Wife, Nancy McCrary Powell, Son, David Powell, Parents, George and Pearl Powell, Great Grandchildren, Lyrick & Lexie Olson, Baby Shoemake, Sisters, Nancy Lou Hampton, Hazel Ilene Kirby, Doris Shelton, Nina Faye Glass, Brother, Virgil Powell.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Rudder Funeral Home Stevenson from 5-8 PM.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Floyd Powell & Tommy Shoemake officiating. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Alabama.
