George Davis was born on June 20, 1960 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of June Pipes Davis and the late Otis Jackson Davis.
On July 16, 1980, he was united in marriage to Sherrie Conner, who survives.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Davis worked at Hurst Cricket Farm and as a painter. He loved hunting and fishing. He always had a garden. He loved his John Deere tractor. He loved to work in his yard. Most of all, he loved his God and Savior and adored his family. He knew so many people who loved and respected him. Anyone who knew him knew he loved to talk. He never met a stranger and would talk to anyone about anything. George was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ.
George Davis departed this life on February 24, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 8 months, and 4 days.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Davis of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Patrick Eli Davis of Savannah, Tennessee; mother, June Pipes Davis of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Stan Davis and Richard Davis, both of Savannah, Tennessee; and sisters, Tammy Gordon and Tiffany Teply, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his father, George was preceded in death by his son, Carlton Seth Davis.
