Funeral for George Allen Wiseheart, 92, of Priceville will be Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Heathcock officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Wiseheart, who died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at his residence, was born July 24, 1920, in Charlotte, N.C., to George and Estelle Bruton Wiseheart. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and Boeing retiree. He was a member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church. Mr. Wiseheart was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Gary Austin Wiseheart.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lorene Wiseheart; one son, Larry Allen Wiseheart (Helen) of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, Lorene Monahan (Dennis), Gretchen Cadavid (Robert), Justin Wiseheart, Timothy Wiseheart, Larry Wiseheart II, Nathan Wiseheart (Brittany) and Ashley Wiseheart; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Stovall, Adam Rudell, Henry Allen, Nathan Wiseheart, Jim Inman and Pat Nagel.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Christ Like Sunday School Class.
