Geneva Stevenson Swaim of Huntsville passed away February 24, 2024. Geneva was born in Huntsville as the youngest of six children. She graduated from Joe Bradley High School and worked as a bookkeeper all her life.
She married Erle Stevenson at a young age, and they were married for 48 years before his death. On February 17, 2024, she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Kenneth Swaim.
Survivors include daughter, Belinda Stevenson; son, Steve Stevenson; grandchildren, Lindsay Blackwell (Richmond), Emily Earle (Brian), and Payne Stevenson (Sherayah); six great-grandchildren; niece, Sandra Armstrong; and nephew, Wesley Cleveland.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 26 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the University of Alabama Alumni Fund.
