Genell is survived by her loving husband of 2 years, James “Jim” Whitman; sons, Jeff (Alice) Garrison, Kennie (Carol) Garrison, Nathan Garrison and brother, Raymond (Faye) Carey. She was “Mawmaw” to 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Ward; parents, Dalton and Ruby Carey; sisters, Mozell Borden, Wilman Mize, Betty Roat and Geneva Lindley.
