Gene Pendley, age 96 of Northport, Alabama formerly of Lynn, Alabama passed away March 18, 2026. He was a member of Lynn Baptist Church and also attended First Baptist Church Pinson.
Visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Awtrey officiating. Burial will follow in Lynn Cemetery.
Mr. Pendley is survived by his son, Ricky Pendley; daughter, Vicki Pendley; sister, Barbara Awtrey; grandchildren, Christy and Chris Nash, Kevin Sparks and Carrie Bromley; great grandchildren, Brooks Henson and Destiny Jackson; great great grandchildren, Charli Henson and Aurora Jackson Henson; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Pendley; mother, Manti Dodd Pendley; sisters, Edith Bremermann and Betty Lindsey; brother, Ralph Pendley; grandson, Christopher Pendley; brothers in law, Eddie Lindsey, Bill Bremermann and Charles Awtrey; sister in law, Carol Pendley; and love of his life, Ruth Daniel
