William "Al" Temple It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Al Temple, who departed this life on March 18, 2026, at the age of 60.

Born on February 8, 1966, Al lived a life defined by strength, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He was a proud veteran who served honorably in the 82nd Airborne, carrying that same courage and dedication throughout his life.

After his military service, Al built a career in maintenance, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to help others. No matter the task, he approached it with quiet determination and skill.

Above all, Al was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Temple; his children, Christopher (Allison) Temple, Forrest (Natosha) Temple, and Shauna (Daniel) Clements; and his cherished 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his special brother, Jim (Bonnie) Temple, along with a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Special friends include Richard (Annette) Cheeseman, Chad Abercrombie, and Lisa Braswell.

He was preceded in death by his father, James (Patricia) Temple, and his mother, Faye Finlay Temple.
Al had a passion for the outdoors and adventure. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, motorcycles, and horses, finding peace and freedom in those moments. He also had a special love for animals, caring for them with a kind and compassionate heart.

He will be remembered for his warm heart, quiet strength, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Lathamville Baptist Church with Bro. Justin Joiner officiating. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
