Gary W. Kinney was born in Bloomfield, Iowa, September 11th, 1937 and passed July 25, 2024.

Gary worked for Boeing in Wichita, Kansas. In 1962, he moved with Boeing to Huntsville, Alabama.

Later he worked for Brown Egineering and Spaco. Upon his move to Huntsville, Gary met his wife, Patricia Franklin Kinney, (Patsy), they were wed on October 25, 1968. They enjoyed fifty-five, (55), wonderful years together.

In Huntsville, Gary went on to build Kinney Industries, Inc., which was a wire and harness business. Gary had a brilliant mind and created, as well as, worked on many patents.

Gary had a love for motorcycles and later raced them, as well as, rode many adventures and happy miles across America. He was an Alabama Roll Tide fan, as well as, a Kansas City Cheifs fan. Gary loved antique cars and was a memeber of the Huntsville Antique Cars Club. He loved showing his “original” 1934 Ford he called Henrietta.

Gary helped many people in need. His favorite charity was “Operations Smile”, The Mercy Ship. Anyone in need, Gary was always ready to lend a hand.

Gary leaves behind his loving wife, Patsy, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren. Gary and Patsy had two children, Melissa Niday and Mark Schillo.
