Gary R. Modrow, 70, of Guntersville, AL, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Mr. Modrow was retired from Genesis Shade in Albertville, AL. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Bertha May Modrow of Guntersville, AL; two sons, Eric Modrow of Waupaca, WI, and Duane Barry of Iuka, MS; three daughters, Regina Magruder of Waupaca, WI, Jessica Escobar of Oneonta, AL, and Tresea Kriescher Edmondson of Albertville, AL; two sisters, Sharon Carr of Albertville, AL, and Shirley Wiggins of Lufkin, TX; and ten grandchildren, Ashley Beardsley, Bethany Flores, Crystal Flores, Sean Beardsley, Roman Junior Huerta, Karla Lang, Dylan Barry, Ethan Barry, Lexie Barry, and Connor Barry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Colson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka, MS, or to Mountain Point Ministries in Oneonta, AL.
