Mr. Gary Hugh Hinton, age 69, a resident of Joppa, Alabama, passed away Thursday afternoon
January 2, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. Gary was born in Tuscaloosa County, AL on May 19,
1955. His parents were Howard Hugh Hinton and Dorothy Ann Freeman Hinton. He and
Rhonda Susan Reynolds Hinton were married for over 44 years. He was employed by
Sanmina/SCI where he worked as an Electronic Technician.
Gary’s family was the most important part of his life. He loved his wife, daughters and grand
daughter immensely. Gary was a proud American, a supporter of the 2 nd |Amendment and a
member of the NRA. He was very generous and gave to wounded warriors project and children’s
hospital. In lieu of flowers the family encourages contributions to wounded warriors or St.
Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in his memory.
Family members Gary leaves behind include his wife, Rhonda Susan Reynolds Hinton;
daughters, Leslie Dianne Hinton Green and Natalie Anne Hinton; granddaughter, Ansleigh
Elizabeth Parker; and brother, Eric Howard Hinton (Amy). He was preceded in death by his
parents, Howard and Dorothy Hinton.
The family has chosen to honor Gary’s choices for cremation. A memorial service will be Tuesday February 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation prior starting at 1:30 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
