A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Gary Dale McCaig, 82, will be Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Greg Screws officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. McCaig passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 6, 1944, in Morgan County, to Charles Aaron McCaig and Olgie Ruth Thompson McCaig.
Gary was the Owner and Operator of Genesis Hair Salon, prior to his retirement. He also was involved as a Hartselle business owner in Rag Time Antiques. Gary was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Preceding him in death were his parents, an older brother- Harold McCaig and a sister- Sarah McCaig.
Survivors include
Husband – Larry Worley
Brother – Bobby McCaig (Elaine),
Nieces – Melody Bridges and Leree Reeves,
Nephews – Shannon McCaig and Greg McCaig,
Five Grandchildren,
Many other loving family members.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
