Frieda Josephine Morrison, 91, entered into eternal rest on Sunday. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony and Sophie Fifer (Koenig). She married Harold W. Morrison in 1950; theirs was a marriage for the ages.
With a warm smile and timeless elegance, she made everyone feel welcome with her natural ability to care for others and culinary talents. Family was Frieda’s passion and delight. She loved butterflies; whenever a butterfly spreads its wings, she will be remembered fondly. Her loved ones, who rejoice that she is at peace with her Savior, will dearly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years; daughter Dale Michelle; brother Walter Fifer; and sister Irene Kirk. Frieda is survived by her daughter, Doreen Morrison Delquadro; sister Doris Vargo; grandchildren Lyndsay Ferguson (Trip) and Kyle Delquadro; also great-grandchildren James and John David Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held for family and friends in Columbus, Ohio. The date is to be determined.
