Freeda Marie Dodd Jones, 83, of Florence, passed away September 22, 2014 at Glenwood Nursing Home. She was a member of Stony Point Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 10 – 12 Noon at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 Noon in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brad Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jones; daughter, Jo Ann Jones Ingram; grandson, Daniel Ingram; parents, Leslie and Blanche Dodd; brother, Joe Dodd; sister, Christine Dodd Trousdale.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce and Tracy Jones (Carole); daughter, Pamela Jones Thornton(Ricky); brothers, Bobby Dodd, Bill Trousdale; sister, Martha Ann Dodd Holt; grandchildren, Justin and Clay Jones.
Pallbearers will be Justin Jones, Clay Jones, Michael Dodd, Reese Harrison, Ed Thrasher, and Raymond Scott.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Glenwood Healthcare, especially Dee, Amy, April, Lynn, and Dr. Webb, and the staff of Hospice of the Shoals.
