Fred Seymour, age 79 of Empire, passed away on Saturday April 10, 2021 at his residence.
He was a U. S. Army veteran, having served his country in Germany during the Vietnam War era.
Mr. Seymour was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who loved his family and enjoyed life to the fullest. His great joys were hunting, fishing and being outdoors with his friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Empire Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his son, Shannon Ray Seymour; mother, LaVerne Ison; father, Henry Seymour; grandfather, Fred Rivers and sister, Wanda Gardner.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Seymour; daughter, Sandy Watkins (Frank); grandchildren, Sunny O’Neill (Ron), Erika Thompson (Anthony Boshell), Colten Seymour, Camren Seymour and Destin Watkins; great grandchildren, Cayden and Garrison O’Neill and Everlee Rose Boshell; brother, William Carl “Billy” Ison; several other relatives and a host of fiends.
