Fred Lawrence Kennedy, age 78, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017. Visitation will today, noon-2 p.m., at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bryan McIntyre officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kennedy was a member of Killen United Methodist Church. He was a 54-year lifetime member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local Union No. 760.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Opel and Bertha Kennedy.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie “Sue” Morrison Kennedy; son, Kevin Kennedy, of Florence; and brother, Billy Joe Kennedy and wife, Janice.
