Shanna Lee Summers, age 76, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, March 07, 2025 at the Cottage of the Shoals in Tuscumbia.
Shanna was born on Friday, July 23, 1948, to James Hector & Carrie Lucille (Blankenship) Malone in Lawrence County, Alabama. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Clayton Summers, at the age of 16 and they spent many wonderful years together. She deeply loved her husband, her sons, and especially her grandchildren and her dog, Molly.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 60 years, Jimmy Clayton Summers; sons, Kirk Summers (Tracy), Dr. Bradley Summers (April), Jamie Summers (Marsha); grandchildren, Jordan Summers, James Summers, Evan Summers, Carley Summers, Abby Summers, Noah Summers, and Ethan Summers; and her four-legged best friend, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Hector & Carrie Lucille (Blankenship) Malone, and brother, James Gary Malone.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Bethsaida Baptist Church, with the funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Stanley Hargett officiating the service. The burial will be in the adjourning church cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Kirk Summers, Bradley Summers, Jamie Summers, Noah Summers, Ethan Summers, Danny LeFan, Trey LeFan, and Tyler LeFan.
