Francisca Garcia, age 77 of Decatur, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born in Mexico on October 4, 1948 to Rodolfo Guevara and Juana Perez Geuvara.
Mrs. Garcia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ramiro Garcia; children, Marisol Ruelas, Ramiro Garcia Jr., Jorge Garcia, and Martin Garcia; grandchildren, Abigail Garcia, Danielle Ruelas, Alexander Ruelas, Ashley Ruelas, Nathalie Ruelas, Denise Garcia, Destiny Garcia, Zoey Kelley, Lailyn Garcia, Martin Garcia Jr., Jose Garcia, Fabian Garcia and Emma Garcia; great grandchildren, John Wesley Sears III, Penelope Sears, Noah Castro, Esmerelda Castro, Alexander Delgado, Aylah Delgado, Adrianna Delgado, Araceli Delgado, Aiden Ruelas, Sebastian Ruelas and Julian Ruelas; siblings, Rodolfo Guevara Jr., Jose Luis Guevara and Juana Guevara; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ramiro Garcia III; brothers, Alberto Guevara and Ramiro Guevara.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Decatur Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Oscar Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Decatur Brown Service Funeral Home.
