Frances Woods Briggs, 88, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, of an extended illness. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Greenview Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. She was the wife of the late John Wallace Briggs.
