FLORENCE-Mayor Betterton, Florence City Council Members, and the City of Florence Planning and Community Development Director, Melissa Bailey, announced the launch of the “Florence ROCKS!” relief grant for Florence Arts and Entertainment Industry.
In honor of an industry that has defined our corner of the world and further our goal of supporting our business community’s recovery, it is with much excitement and honor to announce the development of a new special economic assistance program aptly named “Florence ROCKS!”.

Who’s Eligible for “Florence ROCKS!”?
The mission of “Florence ROCKS!” is to assist as many local entertainment industry professionals as possible. A list of eligible professionals was developed following consultation with industry experts.

Evaluation Criteria
Evaluators will utilize a project scoring criterion for the purposes of making funding recommendations. Scoring will also help determine the priority of project applications in the likely event requests exceed funding availability. The highest scoring projects will be recommended for funding.
