FLORENCE-On Monday, December 20 the Florence Police Department issued a statement concerning a hit-nd-run accident. They are asking the public for help. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Florence Police:
The pedestrian struck was Lori Lynne Avery 56 year old female. We are still working on identifying the vehicle involved.
On December 20, 2021, at approximately 5:10 P.M., Florence Police received a call of a person down on Chisholm Road south of Rasch Road. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 56 yo female. It appears the female was struck by a passing vehicle. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
