FLORENCE-Thje Florence Police Department released a statement concerning a stabbing that took place on Sunday, August 20. Anyone with information should contact The Florence Police Department:
“Andrea Kilpatrick, W/F, 39yoa, Florence, Al.
Michael Forsythe, W/M, 33yoa, Florence, Al.
On 8-20-17 Patrol Officers responded to a stabbing call at Budget Inn on Florence Blvd. When officers arrived they found Michael Forsythe in the parking lot with a stab wound in his back. He stated that he was stabbed by Andrea “Dre” Kilpatrick. Mr. Forsythe at the time of the call was uncooperative and would not state what the stabbing was over. Mr. Forsythe was air lifted to Huntsville Hospital. No charges have been filed at this time for Ms. Kilpatrick. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with detail or information is asked to contact Detective Troy Gurley at 256-768-2764.”
