FLORENCE-On Friday, January 25 the Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who has been arrested on charges of Breaking And Entering A Motor Vehicle and Theft Charges:
“On the morning of January 24, 2019 the Florence Police Department received a call in regard to a suspicious person pulling door handles and looking into vehicles at the Polynesian Village Apartment Complex, 3276 Old Chisholm Rd. Florence, AL.
Witnesses advised FPD dispatch of the subjects clothing description and vehicle description. Upon arrival of patrol officers the vehicle described was leaving the complex. Officers located and stopped the vehicle identifying Jacob Allen Cook as the occupant. Further investigation revealed that Cook had made entry into at least one vehicle in the complex.
Cook was arrested for Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle and Attempted Theft of Property 4th. He is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center with no bond. Cooks no bond stems from additional unrelated charges.”
