Florence Ann (F.A.) Haney – Obituary

Florence Ann (F.A.) Haney, 88, of Anderson, died Monday at Limestone Health Facility. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Chuck Hood officiating, burial in Oakgrove Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Haney was born July 13, 1928, in Lauderdale County. She was a member of Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Anderson, employed at Tanner High School Cafeteria, and a homemaker.

Survivors include daughters, Shelia McConnell (Freddie), Sonja Blackburn (Jimmy), both of Anderson, Cindy Mosley (Roger), of Lexington, and Freida Pressnell (Mike), of Anderson; daughter-in-Law, Shiela Haney, of Athens; fifteen grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and Brother Dr. Jack Goodman, of Athens; sisters, Neva Denton, of Columbia, Tennessee and Robbie Griggs, of Knoxville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by husband, Tom Haney; and son, Tommy Haney.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
