Flora Ann Tate, age 89 of Huntland, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at NHC in Tullahoma. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Huntland on September 29, 1934, to the late Charles P. and Lucy Virginia (Rodgers) Sutton. Before her retirement, Flora Ann and family owned and operated Huntland Mini Market. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Tate; and brother, Ben Sutton. Flora Ann is survived by her loving children, Teresa (Bob) McBroom, and Charles (Diana) Spaulding; grandchildren, Lauren (Thomas) Brown, Chase (Sarah) Spaulding, and Chelsea (Drew) Culbreth; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Jonathan, and Anna Beth Brown, Whit Culbreth, and Evie Rose Spaulding. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro.
