Ferrell Thomas McDonald, 81, of Harvest, passed away Friday. Mr. McDonald was a life-long resident of Madison County and retired from Tennessee Valley Authority Brown’s Ferry Nuclear Plant. He was also a life-long Mason. Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Durham McDonald.
Survivors include daughter, Melinda Lyles and husband, Don, of Harvest; son, Phillip Sanders and his son, Mckenzie, of Huntsville; several nieces and nephews; and one beloved niece, Carolyn Moore of Trussville; and loving caregivers, Kim Broadway and Sarah Broadway, who assisted him in his final year.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Huntsville Memory Gardens with the Rev. Tim Rice officiating.
