SOMERVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person in Morgan County:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:25 a.m. Thursday, April 10, has claimed the life of a Falkville man.
William E. Gosa, 56, was fatally injured when the 2008 Ford Mustang that he was driving struck a 2016 BMW X3 driven by John P. Ross Jr., 60, of Huntsville. After the initial impact, the Ford struck the BMX for a second time then left the roadway and struck a tree. Gosa was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 36 near Upper River Road, approximately five miles northeast of Somerville, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
