Mrs. Exa Lee O’Bryant Wright, 91, of Florence, passed away on August 30, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Cloverdale Methodist Church and a graduate from Central High School with the class of 1945. She retired from Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital after twenty-six years as a nurse’s aide.
Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2016 at Greenview Funeral Home from 1:30 -3:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lynn Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Wright; infant son; parents, Charlie and Exar McMullan O’Bryant; brothers, infant brother, Calvin O’Bryant; sisters, Elizabeth O’ Bryant, Pauline Marks and Georgie Valentine.
Survivors include her sons, Terrell “Terry” Dwight (Deb) of Savannah, TN, Dr. Don Wright (Myra) of Cedar Bluff, AL; daughters, Ophelia (David) Montgomery, Eunice Wright and Phyllis (Jimmy) Collier all of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Stephen (LaFonda) Montgomery, Sonya (Rayburn) Wisdom, Andy (Heather) Montgomery, Christopher (Lisa) Wright, Dr. Ashley Wright (Stephen) Iaconis; Brooke and Colin Wright, Jessica (Bart) Holmes and Bradley Collier; great-grandchildren, Symone, Dalton and Colton Montgomery, Reagan Wisdom, Callie Holmes, Jordan Wright and Anthony and Oliver Iaconis.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Montgomery, Andy Montgomery, Rayburn Wisdom, Christopher Wright, Jordan Wright, Colin Wright, Stephen Iaconis and Bart Holmes.
Bradley Collier will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Lyman Mitchell, Pam Hill and staff, and Dr. Webb and Staff at Palliative Care at ECM Hospital.
