Evelyn June Woodruff, 81, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was born April 29, 1944, in Lee County, to Douglas and Estelle Edge. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Woodruff Cemetery with Brother Jeremy Funderburk officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at McMillan Funeral Home.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Terry Woodruff (Daisy); her daughter, Norma Beene (Bryan); her brother, James R. “Bud” Edge (Virginia); her grandchildren, Ashley Collins (Bobby), Jason Bearden (Shauna), Brittany Dow, Egan Woodruff, Hadley Woodruff, Trudy Woodruff, Jacquelyn Wren, Tabitha Miller (Gabe), Kimberly Littleton, Larkin McGee, and Madyson Howard; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Vester Woodruff; her son, James “Jamie” Woodruff; and her daughter, Sherry Woodruff.
Pallbearers are Bobby Collins, Connor Jackson, and Leon Posey.
