Evelyn Franks age 90 of Guin, AL passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 in the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, AL.
Born April 3, 1934 in Marion County, AL she is the Daughter of the late Howard Lee and Ollie Franks Bozeman and the Wife of the late J.P. Franks. She had lived in the Pea Ridge Community most of her life and was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church. She had retired from Munsingwear Garment Plant and loved going to the Smoky Mountains.
She is survived by A Daughter, Sherry (Mark) Carden of Guin, AL, 2 Sons, Ron (Jane) Franks of Tuscaloosa, AL and Terry (Corrine) Franks of Guin, AL, 6 Grandchildren, Joel (Melanie) Franks, Tommy (April) Franks, Ginger (Jammy) Byars, Janene (Scott) Cole, Heath (Kimberly) Franks and Alex (Jaclyn) Carden, 11 Great Grandchildren, a Great – Great Grandson and a Sister, Judy Miles of Monroe, LA.
Services held Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel – Guin, with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Joel Franks and Bro. Tommy Franks officiating.
