Graveside services for Evelyn Alice Burmester, 92, of Cullman, will be Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. at Cullman Memory Gardens with Moss Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burmester died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, in Falkville. She was born March 14, 1923, in Cullman to John and Freida Buehl Rackl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Burmester; and two sisters, Alma Rackl Dahlke and Marie Rackl Newman.
Survivors include one son, Charles (Bobbi) Burmester; two daughters, Sandra (Jimmy) Wright and Deborah (Keith) Dobbs; three grandchildren, Ben (Megan) Burmester, Scott (fiancee’, Mandy Donaldson) Burmester and Katie Dobbs; one great-grandchild, Addison Burmester, and several nieces and nephews.
The family is sincerely grateful to Southern Care Hospice and Falkville Nursing Home for the loving care they provided Evelyn while she was a resident.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity in memory of Evelyn.
